# no i hate you liz # you don’t actually understand how much this scene breaks my heart ugh # because let me introduce you to buffy summers # she might be a slayer and a friend and a leader but this season she is first a daughter and sister # and she has to be strong for her family ~all the time~ # she doesn’t get breaks # she doesn’t get time to cry or lean on her friends # she doesn’t get to fall apart until she can’t hold it in anymore and it just hurts so much # and when she cries she can’t do it lying next to her sister with mutual support # she can’t call her boyfriend or even lean on the stupid vampire in the basement # she does it at the sink while music plays because she keeps her misery to herself # not because there aren’t people she loves # but because that’s who she is and that’s how she navigates pain- alone # I HATE EVERYTHING # I HATE THIS SCENE # I HATE THESE EMOTIONS

- James Marsters : Yeah, I believe that. Only then was he a true hero, only then did he truly sacrifice himself for other people and only then did he truly deserve her.
